Dog Roast 2004 Horseshoe Pitch Tournament

While the pig was turning on the spit during the afternoon, competition was held in the sand pit for the first annual horseshoe pitch tournament.  Teams were organized from all around the USA*, and Tournament Chairman John Major set up the brackets for play, and also ruled on any close calls in the pit.

30^th Dog Roast Celebrated!

This Summer marks the 30th year that the annual get together we call The Dog Roast has been hosted by both Rob and Shari Cimino.

With John Major serving as the M.C. for this moment in time, Jane Patterson was able to get, with the help and muscle of sons Will and Ben, an apple tree, to be planted as a lasting gift to the family for all the years of friendship, good times and wonderful memories.

Also, to honor both Rob and Shari, all the Geezers pitched in, and gave
Rob and Shari a gift, in the form of a down payment, for a flat
bottomed fishing boat, motor and trailer they had been
looking at earlier in 2004.  Best of luck catching the big one!
